Is WWE's Kane qualified to be mayor?

Glenn Jacobs, formerly Kane of the WWE, won the GOP primary in the Knox County mayoral race. While he is able to run for mayor, many question whether he's qualified to run an entire county. Unlike his opponents, Jacobs has a history of dealing with egos in professional wrestling. Government shouldn't be any different. Still, running a county is completely different than what he has done in the ring or as an insurer after his WWE career. What do you think? 🤼

Politicians can't be trusted anymore. Every week there seems to be the threat of a government shutdown or more inaction. At least Glenn Jacobs brings a breath of fresh air.

He may not have the traditional track of a mayor, but maybe that's what politics needs these days. Someone who has seen life in every American city and can take the best parts. If that doesn't work out, a nice chokeslam to get things moving shouldn't hurt. Kane is as qualified as anyone to be a mayor.

Great. Another celebrity who thinks they can run the government. Isn't one delusional TV star enough?

Kane might have developed a promising post-wrestling career and a coherent platform, but that doesn't mean he has the wherewithal to govern. He's going to flounder because he doesn't have that kind of experience running the government or the moving parts needed to get things done. Jacobs needs to stay away from politics.
