There were heroes, and then there was the Hulkster. After defeating the hated Iron Sheik, Hulk Hogan became a household name. With his army of Hulkamaniacs, Hogan would dominate the WWE for over four years. He would ride his support to incredible victories against some of the sport's greatest opponents, including Andre the Giant and King Kong Bundy.

Hogan established himself as the all-American superhero, frequently waving the flag around as he lay waste to the villains who dared to threaten the company. There were many good guys in professional wrestling, but there weren't any heroes more wholesome than Hogan.

Hulk Hogan was the WWE's greatest champion and hero, but that all ended in 1996. Hulk Hogan turned heel to become "Hollywood" Hogan in the WCW, an arrogant, entitled coward who would hide behind his cohorts to protect his title. He was ruthless, and as much as people loved him when he was the face, they hated him just as much when he was the heel. Even when he was the villain, Hogan was the star of the show.

Whether it was as Mankind, Cactus Jack or Dude Love, Foley literally threw himself from great heights all in name of great wrestling.

Foley took a beating no one else could in the industry and became a fan favorite with his ability smile through the pain elevate matches with his death-defying stunts. He was rewarded with championship titles and the lifelong admiration from wrestling fans everywhere.
