Top prospect Marques Bolden chooses Duke over Kentucky. But who'll have the better season? | The Tylt
In a news conference at Desoto High School in Texas, five-star center and top-15 prospect Marques Bolden ended a recruiting war!
Bolden announced Thursday that he's picked Duke's Blue Devils over Kentucky's basketball team. Duke is ranked no. 2 in recruiting for the 2016-2017 season, but Bolden definitely gives Duke even more of an edge to be the top team. Some argue they are going to dominate the next year with all of their top picks.
It's a loss for Kentucky, but some experts and fans have noted that Kentucky is still ranked no. 1 in this year's recruiting class. So who'll have the better season?
ESPN 100 ranked Bolden no. 16, according to ESPN. Also, the 6-foot-10 superstar led Desoto to a state championship in 2016. Just a couple more reasons getting Bolden is a win for Duke. While Bolden's announcement was heavily anticipated, Kentucky still has other top picks to lead them into the college basketball season. And Kentucky's Big Blue Nation (BBN) will be rooting for them along the way.
What do you think: #DukeSeason will be better or how about #KentuckySeason?

Duke's roster next season is comparable to what Kentucky had during the 14-15 season. Blue Devils are built to dominate. And they will.— Jon Rothstein (@JonRothstein) May 19, 2016
My gut is changing from Kentucky to Duke with Bolden. LOL.— Jeff Goodman (@GoodmanESPN) May 19, 2016
