Should Tiger Woods retire?

PGA Tour golfer Tiger Woods missed another cut at a major tournament at the Open Championship. Tiger looked great for stretches, but ending his career sooner rather than later to save his body might be the move. However, he won the Masters this past year and continues to have good showings at tournaments throughout the year. If he still has the ability and desire, many would like to see him continue to play. What do you think? 🏌 🐅

Woods' body is breaking down, and he needs to start thinking about a life outside of the game. He admitted he isn't sure how his body is going to react to certain situations, and when an athlete can't do that, it might be time to retire.

Tiger's pursuit of Jack Nicklaus' major win record was thrilling and injected new life into the sport with his powerful swing, and death-defying saves. However, he has nothing left in the tank. He shouldn't ruin his legacy by playing in tournaments just for the sake of it. He won the Masters at 43 years old and that should be enough. He needs to retire and save some dignity.

People are already eulogizing Woods' career, but he still has plenty to give to the game. He may not be the same golfer he was 10 years ago, but he still has plenty of magic left. He has finally given his body the rest it needs between tournaments and he has proven he is capable of peaking high enough to win a major tournament.

The PGA needs Woods to provide that special presence that helped grow the sport years ago. If Woods' performance at The Masters is any indication, he will keep winning if he continues to play.
