Will Tiger Woods pass Jack Nicklaus in major titles?

After a long layoff, Tiger Woods is back in action and looking strong. Woods now has 15 major titles under his belt and some feel that he has enough in the tank to pass golfing legend Jack Nichlaus' 18 major wins record. However, while Woods has looked great in some rounds, expecting him to put major-winning stretches at 44 years old would be too much to ask. What do you think? ⛳

The Tiger Woods of yesteryear is stalking the field again, and this run of dominant golf is only the beginning of a new era of his career. He may no longer have the jaw-dropping drives or aggressive shot-making that fans used to see, but he's gained patience and is making smart decisions on the course.

The new and improved Woods proved he could navigate a course under extreme pressure, getting out of a couple of tough situations by laying up instead of recovering from a mistake with one shot. His putter is finely tuned once again, and if he's sinking birdies and saving pars, the rest of the field is in trouble.

Jack Nicklaus won his last major at 46. Tiger is 44 and with his steely nerves back in full effect, he has plenty of skill to pass him up.

Sports editor Dan Tran talks with former Texas Southern running back Randall Newsome about athletes' role in activism and the HBCU experience.

People underestimate how difficult it actually is to win a major. Tiger Woods had a great Masters Tournament, but that kind of magic rarely happens—especially when you're 43.

Woods thrilled the crowd at Augusta, but to think he can do that four more times before he retires is crazy. He's not the same intimidating force he once was, and golfers aren't scared of him anymore. The other golfers are going to come at him with everything they have, and there is no way the field lets him off the hook as it did at the Masters.

There is no way he can find enough health, skill and luck to muster four more major wins. Nicklaus' record is safe.
