Will Tiger Woods win the British Open?

Tiger Woods will be competing for his 16th major title this week at the Open Championship. Woods won the Masters this year and notched a top-10 finish at the Memorial Tournament. The British Open has been one of Woods' best Majors, and he might add another title to his bulging trophy case. Still, the field is strong, and Woods isn't playing consistently. Many think Woods has too much to overcome. What do you think? 🏌

Tiger Woods already won one major this year and he has a great chance to do it again. He's been resting and has proven he still has plenty of juice to win majors in the later years of his career. Here is Charlotte Gibson from ESPN The Magazine with more:

While I'm mourning the fact that it's the last major of the season, I'm also feeling like it's my last chance to go big and choose someone whom I've been eager to pick all year but have hesitated for many reasons: Tiger Woods. Look, I know he's only had eight official stroke-play starts since last year's Tour Championship. And I know he missed the cut at the PGA Championship at Bethpage Black. But I'm convinced that Woods' strategy of playing less than once a month in stroke-play and waking up at 1 a.m. back home in preparation for The Open will pay off. To top it all off, a green jacket and Claret Jug in the same year will take us all back to the heydays of Woods for which we all still yearn (or maybe I just yearn for them).

No matter how many great moments Woods may have, his age is determining a lot in his performance. It's clear Woods is starting to break down, and there is no way he will win the Open Championship, especially with such a strong field to contend with. Not even Woods sounds like he believes he'll win:

It's not quite as sharp as I'd like to have it right now. My touch around the greens is right where I need to have it. But I still need to shape the golf ball a little bit better than I am right now, especially with the weather coming in and the winds are going to be changing. I have to be able to cut the ball, draw the ball, hit it at different heights and move it all around.
