Tennis umpires are allegedly threatening to boycott future matches with Serena Williams after they felt tennis organizations didn't do enough to protect Carlos Ramos, who was skewered by the public for assessing Williams a game penalty. Some think chair umpires' inability to take the frustration of a player makes them the softest referees in the game. Still, baseball's umpires are known to throw people out of games for the slightest criticisms. Who are the bigger snowflakes? ❄🎾⚾

If your first instinct after getting yelled in sports is to boycott, maybe you're not mentally strong enough to be an umpire. Serena Williams had a tense exchange with a chair umpire, something most referees have to deal with in some respect or another. If they can't handle that, maybe they need to reassess their capacity to judge anything.

While tennis might be getting the spotlight now, people shouldn't forget baseball umpires have literally ejected people for arguing balls and strikes. Even a glare from a pitcher will set them off. No one is perfect, but umpires like to play like they are. And whenever they get criticized the slightest bit, they get red in the face and try to be part of the show. Baseball umpires are the worst.
