Is Andy Murray done?

Tennis star Andy Murray has pulled out of the Australian Open with an ongoing hip injury. The injury is serious enough to consider surgery and with a painful rehabilitation in his future, coupled with the decline in his playing form, it might be time for Murray to hang up the racket. Still, competitors are meant to come back from injuries and Murray is one of the best. He has plenty left in the tank. What do you think? 🎾

Andy Murray has nothing left to prove to anyone. His career is objectively successful even if he retires today. He's won three men's singles Grand Slam titles and two Olympic gold medals. He was the first Englishmen to win Wimbledon since 1977 and has become a hero in British sports.

There is no point in putting his body through hell again. It's time for Murray to retire.

But Andy Murray is a competitor. People who love the sports they play can't imagine life without it.

Murray may be down on himself right now, but once he starts feeling better with or without surgery, he's going to be back on the court and working towards a comeback. Murray is only 30 years old and still in the prime of his career. He has plenty left in his tank. He is coming back.
