Do you prefer post-COVID sports with empty seats or CGI crowds?

It's been nearly two months since sports leagues across the world halted operations, but there are some that are making plans to the return. Just because the technology exists, it doesn't mean it has to be used. Instead of the live game, people will be treated to an augmented reality FIFA video game in what may be a desperate attempt to bring sports back.

No one asked for this and this abomination of an idea needs to die.

People might be scoffing at the idea of a CGI crowd, but if you've watched a game on television with no crowd and no crowd noise, you lose interest pretty quickly. Look at the WWE. They've been showing fanless content and it's just not the same as having something there, fake or not.

Fans are desperately missing sports and if this gives them some sense of normalcy when it comes back, people should give it a chance.
