Should the Raiders stay in Oakland? | The Tylt
The Raiders have officially filed the paperwork to move to Las Vegas, but a majority of NFL owners must approve it before the team can proceed. Oakland fans feel betrayed by the team. The Raiders have called Oakland home for decades, and the team has developed a rabid fan base. But some analysts think the team will draw bigger crowds in Las Vegas—especially when the city of Oakland has been reluctant to help the Raiders build a new stadium. What do you think? 🏈

Fans feel betrayed because the Raiders have built a home in Oakland and the fans stuck by them through years of terrible football. There was a long stretch of time when no one was paying attention the Raiders, but Oakland has always been there for the team.
In the span of 3 days, Warriors held groundbreaking to move to SF & Raiders filed to move to Las Vegas. What did Oakland do to deserve this?

If I'm Oakland, I tell the Raiders to move on and play in that 100 degree heat at Sam Boyd Stadium. Kick rocks.

@SportsCenter Oakland Raiders fans are some of the most loyal fans in the NFL. After the season Oakland had, they don't deserve this.

Tbh even though I'm a pats fan "Las Vegas Raiders" just doesn't sound right. They need to stay in Oakland. They've been there forever.

At the end of the day, the Raiders need a new stadium and Oakland city officials a are dragging their feet. Las Vegas has a proposed stadium ready to go. It has a plan to make it work. Oakland may be home, but the city is failing to keep the team from relocating.
Oakland fans don't deserve the loss of the @RAIDERS, but both the Raiders and the @Athletics deserve a new stadium. City won't help them.

I understand your point, but the NFL and the Raiders' position is that there is noting close to an acceptable deal being offered in Oakland. https://t.co/II81tXEqyx

Honestly, the Raiders and Las Vegas go hand-in-hand. Read into that what you will.
