Serena Williams is reportedly attempting to make a comeback at the Australian Open. According to tournament officials, she has already gotten her visa, entered the competition and began practicing. Her return at the Australian Open is nearly a lock, and when she gets there, Williams will dominate the field like always. Still, having a child is difficult to come back from, and it could be too hard for her to overcome that stress. What do you think? 🎾

A normal human wouldn't be able to have a child and compete at a grand slam level. Serena Williams is no normal human being.

After having her first child in September, Williams is primed to return to the tournament she won a year ago with the same child growing inside her. She has her sights set on breaking Margaret Court's 24 Grand Slam titles record, and with 23 grand slams to her name, Serena Williams will be extra motivated to win.

Williams may seem like a super human, but she is still just a human. Giving birth takes a lot out of mothers. Even women in peak physical shape take longer than four months to recover from it. Williams may be practicing and might play well at the Australian Open. But expecting her to perform at a championship level is an absurd request from a woman who just had her first child.

The comeback effort is valiant, but she has no shot at winning right now.
