The Legion of Boom is gone. The Seattle Seahawks have traded defensive end Michael Bennett and released cornerback Richard Sherman, breaking apart one of the most iconic defenses of the modern era. That defense was the heart of soul of the team, and the Seahawks won't be nearly as successful without them. Still, the Seahawks still have Russell Wilson and Pete Carroll leading the franchise. They can adjust on the fly and could be just as effective without the Legion of Boom. What do you think? 🏈

The players that made up the Legion of Boom were the Seattle Seahawks. Without them, the team is nothing.

Richard Sherman and Michael Bennett were physical players that outmuscled anyone dumb enough to challenge them. Without them, Seattle is just another team. The Seahawks lost the swagger that set them apart from everyone else. Russell Wilson may be able to win games, but Seattle won't be the powerhouse it once was without the Legion of Boom.

The Legion of Boom hasn't been that great recently. Injuries and age have made Bennett and Sherman a shadow of what they once were, but the one person who really picked up the Seahawks was Russell Wilson. As long as Seattle has Wilson, they will be okay.

Russell Wilson's ability to make plays with his feet is more than enough to make the Seahawks a threat in the NFL. The team will be just fine without the Legion of Boom.
