The Olympic Committee has banned Russia from 2018 Winter Olympics due to a state-sponsored doping program that has tainted the reputation of the country. As of now, doping is illegal. But with so many athletes gaming the system and doping anyway, shouldn't it just be allowed? Fans would get to see athletes break the limits of what the human body can do. However, competition is about putting your best against someone else's best, not what you pump in your body. What do you think? 🏃

The high stakes nature of the Olympics causes athletes to dope to gain a competitive advantage. You know how to mitigate that advantage? Let everyone dope so everyone's performance can be enhanced.

Every Olympic year, dozens of athletes are caught with performance-enhancing drugs. Why not allow everyone the option to do it?

If athletes were allowed to dope, fans would get to see what the real limits are of the human body. People will see people run faster and jump higher than anyone before. Not only that, with everyone doping, the playing field will finally be even. It's time to legalize doping the Olympics.

The Olympics are about competition between people, not drugs. Making it to the Olympics takes years of dedication by the sheer willpower of your body and mind. Add in doping and performance-enhancing drugs, and that achievement isn't your own; it's also the drugs. You didn't earn the right to be called one of the best athletes in the world because it was pills that got you there.

Doping goes against everything the Olympics stand for. Whoever dopes is a cheater, and deserves to be shamed and punished to the fullest extent of the rules.
