Who deserves the world No. 1 spot in men's tennis: Roger Federer or Rafael Nadal?

Tennis superstar Roger Federer overtook Rafael Nadal as world No. 1 despite not playing a match in two months. Federer is still on the top of his game, and although he hasn't competed in a while, he is still the best player in the world. Still, many feel he needs to earn the No. 1 ranking. No one should move up the in rank by sitting on a couch. What do you think? 🎾

Federer gets older, but he only gets better. He already won the Australian Open in 2018 and proved he's still at the top of the sport. Every one knows until Federer retires, he's the best player on the court. He deserves to be world No. 1 if Nadal wasn't good enough to handle it.

It's not right that Nadal busted his hump to get that No. 1 ranking only to surrender it when he lost at the Madrid Open, all while Federer was probably vacationing somewhere. Rankings have to be earned, not fallen into. Until Federer proves it, Nadal should still be the No. 1 tennis player in the world.
