Are the Patriots making a mistake letting Tom Brady walk?
Robert Kraft may have owned the team and Bill Belichick may have been the mastermind, but Tom Brady was the Patriots. There are no six Super Bowl rings without his genius on the field nor the level of unprecedented success. Letting go of a quarterback of his level, no matter the age, is a mistake the team won't likely recover from.

Brady was an elite quarterback at one time, but heading into his 43rd birthday, he is not the same pinpoint passer he once was. Sure, you can blame the lack of weapons he had last year, but a younger Brady would've figured things out and carried the team to another deep playoff run. He's over the hill and it was time for the team to cut ties before his decline continues to show.
