After months on the free-agent market, Cam Newton finally found a home in the NFL, signing a one-year deal to play with the New England Patriots. After losing their future Hall of Fame quarterback in Tom Brady, the Pats found a former MVP to keep the team playoff-ready. With Newton's talent and Belichick's coaching, this appears to be a perfect fit. However, some are concerned Newton's outgoing personality will not fit in with "The Patriot Way." What do you think? 🏈

So one of the most dynastic franchises in NFL history with arguably the greatest coach ever got a talented former NFL MVP, who is only 31 years old, with a chip on his shoulder. The rest of the league is in trouble.

Cam Newton has had injury-plagued seasons recently, but he looks as healthy as he's ever been and that's a problem for anyone who might face him. When he is healthy, Newton is one of the most dynamic players in the league. He's able to rocket a pass downfield as easily as he is able to run for first down with a frame that is difficult to takedown. If the Patriots were able to succeed with Tom Brady dinking and dunking with cement feet, imagine the possibilities they will have with a quarterback who can seemingly do everything.

This is a perfect fit the rest of the league will regret for allowing to happen.

Cam Newton has had some great seasons in the NFL, but his prime may have already come and gone. Injuries, especially in the shoulder and feet, can be career-hindering, especially for dual-threat quarterbacks. The Patriots might think they're getting close to 2015 Newton, when they could easily be getting 2019 Newton.

Newton plays the game with a level of physicality not shown by a lot of quarterbacks. That style of play usually opens him up to a lot of shots from defenders and, no matter how big you are, that means more potential injuries. He won't be any good to New England if he's ailing.

And then you have his personality. Newton is a gregarious, fun-loving player who where's his emotions on his sleeves. Does that sound like anyone who has found success with the Patriots? New England and Bill Belichick look like they treat fun like it's a four-letter word. That's going to cause some friction with a player as outspoken and passionate as Cam Newton.

While Newton is talented and the Patriots are one of the most successful franchises in the NFL, the fit is questionable.
