The International Olympic Committee and the Global Association of International Sports Federations gathered representatives from the eSports community to discuss a potential partnership, opening the possibility of eSports as an Olympic sport. With video games becoming increasingly popular, it's only natural the Olympics evolve with the times to include it. Still, some believe video games require zero physical ability and have no place at such a prestigious event. What do you think? 🎮

eSports is a legitimate sport with big-time money behind it. The IOC would be foolish not to partner with eSports competitors to further cement the sport and help evolve the Olympics. These athletes put in hours mastering their hand-eye coordination and knowledge of the game space. eSports deserves to be at the Olympics.

The Olympics are where people come to see amazing athletic feats, not nerds sitting in front of a screen. The IOC doesn't need to sully the reputation of the competition by adding something that takes zero physical ability. Don't ruin the Olympics with eSports.
