The Golden State Warriors are the favorite to win the NBA Western Conference. But they got upset by the Oklahoma Thunder on Monday 108- 102. Despite having league MVP Steph Curry, the Thunder, lead by Kevin Durant, managed to grab a win after a strong fourth quarter. It's the first postseason loss for the Warriors on their home turf. It's also reminiscent of the upset the Thunder pulled against the San Antonio Spurs just last week. The Spurs were the favorite to win, but chasing his first NBA Championship Kevin Durant lead his team to victory. The OKC Thunder are a great team, but their determination appears to be taking them even further. Meanwhile the Warriors remain a basketball phenomenon. Steph Curry is the undisputed MVP and his team had a 54 home game winning streak that only ended in April. They are the favorite to win and the defending NBA champions. Curry is coming off an injury earlier in the postseason but that hasn't stopped him from averaging around 25 postseason points per game. With the Thunder in the lead 1-0 you have to wonder: Are the #WarriorsReady for the #ThunderStrike.Warriors head coach Steve Kerr postgame conversation.
