The first College Football Playoff rankings are out and there is a bit of a surprise at the top. Ohio State is ranked No. 1 while other defeated teams—LSU, Alabama and Penn State—followed. The Buckeyes have had a successful season, but many feel their schedule and wins aren't worthy of the No. 1 spot. Still, blowout wins against ranked opponents like Cincinnati, Michigan State and Wisconsin, Ohio State has a good enough resume to be at the top. What do you think? 🏈

Ohio State has always gotten the benefit of the doubt, but who have they really beaten? Two ranked teams and a bunch of scrubs.

The Buckeyes are talented and they should be in the College Football Playoff picture, but to have them at the No. 1 spot is blatant favoritism by the selection committee. They shouldn't be that high.

People are acting like Ohio State has played a cupcake schedule. No, that would be Alabama (70th strength of schedule according to Sports Reference).

The Buckeyes actually had the ninth toughest schedule the week the first College Football Playoff rankings were released. And the ranked teams they beat were routs, shutting out Cincinnati 42-0,  dominating Wisconsin 38-7 and running over Michigan State 34-10.

This team belongs in the No. 1 spot.
