Which free-agent quarterback would you rather have: Tom Brady or Drew Brees? | The Tylt
Two of the greatest quarterbacks of all time are hitting the open market and some teams have a legitimate shot at getting them. Six-time Super Bowl Champion Tom Brady is still playing the game at a high level despite working with less than stellar receivers last season. New Orleans Saints legend Drew Brees leads the league all-time in passing touchdowns and can still sling it. Who would you rather have? 🏈
Which free-agent quarterback would you rather have: Tom Brady or Drew Brees?
There aren't many 42-year-olds carrying their team, but Tom Brady was putting the Patriots on his back last year. The offense didn't have the playmakers on offense he's used to and he still threw for 4,057 yards, good for seventh in the league. Give him a receiving corp with talent and he could be playing at an MVP level.
Brady is the definition of greatness and the winning that comes with it. You would be crazy not to want him over Drew Brees.
There's only one quarterback on the free-agent market that holds the record for most passing touchdowns, most pass completions and highest completion percentage. It isn't Tom Brady. It's Drew Brees.
Not only are you getting an elite quarterback with Brees, but you're also getting a face of the franchise who will represent the team well in any community function. Brees is still a monster and teams are would be silly to pass on him and sign Brady instead.
