Earl Thomas' middle finger: Obscene or deserved?

Earl Thomas returned to the Seattle Seahawks after he and team couldn't agree on a long-term extension. It's safe to say he regrets that decision after he fractured his leg and let the team know his displeasure giving the bird to the Birds. Many feel Thomas isn't doing any favors making an obscene gesture because kids are watching him. Others think he has the right to do it after the team basically cost him millions of dollars in free agency. What do you think? 🏈

While men are a majority of the fans watching the NFL, kids also watch the game. They see Thomas' behavior and they think it's acceptable to make obscene gestures. He needs to be more cognizant of the influence he has and be a bigger person.

Earl Thomas wanted an extension. The Seahawks said no. He asked to be traded. The Seahawks said no. He broke his leg playing when he could've held out like Le'Veon Bell. He ended up breaking his leg. All Thomas wanted was long-term stability and to be paid what he's worth. Now he'll be hitting free agency coming off a serious injury and will be losing millions because of it. His anger is warranted.
