The NFL regular season is over and now real football begins. The NFL playoffs are starting with the wild card round on Saturday with the Carolina Panthers facing off against the New Orleans Saints. The Carolina Panthers have one of the best running games and run-stopping defenses in the league. But New Orleans has Drew Brees and two of the best running backs in the NFL in the same backfield. Who wins? 🏈

New Orleans may be the toast of the NFC South, but the Panthers are just as dangerous. Carolina won 11 games with the fourth-best rushing attack in the league, in terms of total yards, led by veteran quarterback Cam Newton. The Panthers defense was also a big contributor to their success, allowing the third-least amount of total rushing yards.

With a team that can run and stop the run, the Panthers are in a great position to get to the divisional round by stuffing the Saints' ground game.

Oh, to be the New Orleans Saints. Not only do they have running back Mark Ingram, who gained 1,540 yards from scrimmage, they have another back in Alvin Kamara who accomplished the same feat. Add in a former NFL MVP who has won it all in Drew Brees and you have one of the more dangerous teams in the postseason.

The Saints will have no trouble dispatching the division-rival Panthers, just like they did twice this season. New Orleans is advancing.
