The Falcons offense may not be the juggernaut it was last year, but it's still pretty darn good with former NFL MVP Matt Ryan and all-world wide receiver Julio Jones ready to play. The real strength of this team is the defense—a top 10 unit in stopping the run and eighth in the league in points allowed.

Defense wins championships and this team has enough firepower to win against the Los Angeles Rams.

What a difference a year makes. The Los Angeles Rams scored the fewest points last season. But under new management, the Rams led the NFL in scoring. The difference has been head coach Sean McVay.

The young coach has given confidence to quarterback Jared Goff, resulting in over 3,800 passing yards and 28 touchdowns. He also unleashed running back Todd Gurley II, who became a legitimate MVP candidate under his coaching. Gurley led the league with 2,093 yards from scrimmage and scored an NFL-high 19 touchdowns.

The Falcons have a good defense, but they won't be able to stop the Rams.
