Should Kyler Murray be a No. 1 draft pick?
Drafting the best player available is a legitimate draft strategy and there is no one better than Heisman Trophy winner Kyler Murray. The Oklahoma Sooner dominated college football last year, showing an impressive arm, a great ability to run and grasping a complex offense.
Kliff Kingsbury is a quarterback whisperer who has gotten the most out of Johnny Manziel and Patrick Mahomes. There is no way he passes up a chance to coach that kind of talent.
The Cardinals already have Josh Rosen, a quarterback they drafted in the first round last year. However, he struggled to do anything notable. Arizona needs to pick Murray first to inject some life into this team.
There is no reason to give up on a quarterback one year after drafting him. Josh Rosen had one of the worst offensive lines in front of him and he paid the price every week. If the Cardinals want to improve, they shouldn't pick Murray.
Nick Bosa is widely considered one of the best players in this draft. Many think he will be a game-changing defensive lineman just like his brother, Joey, in San Diego. The Cardinals have a lot of problems to solve and they might as well take care of one on the defensive end, instead of doubling up on the quarterback position.
