Which team will win the AFC Divisional Round: Colts or Chiefs?
In a one-and-done playoff format, the best team is not necessarily going to win—the hottest team usually does. Indianapolis is coming off a dominating performance against the Texans where it held Deshaun Watson to 235 yards on 49 pass attempts. The Texans only scored seven points and the defense showed it can stop a talented quarterback and one of the best wide receivers in the league.
Offensively, the Colts gained 200 yards on the ground and kept Luck clean against the likes of J.J. Watt and Jadaveon Clowney. That'll come in handy against a team that was the worst in the AFC at stopping the run. This is one of the most balanced teams in the NFL and they have what it takes to knock the Chiefs out.
The Colts had a great time against the Houston Texans. Now, they face the best team in the AFC. Patrick Mahomes quarterbacks a Chiefs team that led the NFL in total yards and points. With his big arm and a solid running game backing him up, there is no way the Colts will be able to keep up.
Kansas City has the offense to pummel Indianapolis and it also has one of the most raucous crowds behind it. Arrowhead is consistently one of the loudest stadiums in the league and it will cause problems for the Colts. The Chiefs are walking out with a W on Saturday.
