Are the Baltimore Ravens better without Joe Flacco?
Say what you will about Flacco being "elite." No one can deny he is still a talented quarterback. Flacco has been a victim of injuries, not only to himself but on a team that has hindered his ability to be successful. When he is healthy, he can throw some dimes on the field, and stretch the defense with his big arm. While he may not be the top-tier quarterback everyone hoped he would be, he is still a good quarterback that can carry this offense when they need him.
The Ravens are better when Flacco is on the field.
Joe Flacco is still trading on the Super Bowl he won in 2013. He may have a big arm, but it doesn't make him an elite quarterback. Right now, he's not even a good quarterback. He gets caught trying to do too much which causes some interceptions. He is unconfident in his protection, making him timid in the pocket. He is not the same quarterback he was before. The Ravens are better off going with a hungrier, younger quarterback.
