Which Larry Nance Jr. dunk was nastier: On Kevin Durant or on Brook Lopez?
Dunking on someone in the NBA doesn't mean much when you're doing it on a scrub. Catch a superstar though, and you have yourself one heck of a highlight. This wasn't some end-of-the-bench stand-in Nance dunked on. This was the reigning Finals MVP who is averaging over 2 blocks a game and making an effort to be on the NBA All-Defensive first team. Nance's dunk on Lopez was nice, but catching a former NBA MVP slipping is just too tasty.
Getting the Finals MVP is great, but in terms of artistry, height and power, nothing compares to Nance's evisceration of Brook Lopez last season. Nance took off from the dotted line, went to chest-to-chest with Lopez and kept on elevating. For what seemed like an eternity, Nance floated gracefully before throwing down a sledgehammer dunk on top of the hapless center that sent his teammates (and opponents) into chaos. When a dunk gets that kind of reaction, you know it's the best.
