NBA Draft: Who's going to be the No.1 pick—Anthony Edwards or LaMelo Ball?
Anthony Edwards came to Georgia as the No. 1 shooting guard in the Class of 2019 and he showed the skills that got him that designation. He was a streaky shooter in college, but was able to get to the rim at will and finish strong, ending the season averaging 19.1 points per game.
In a guard-dominated league, his athleticism and explosive scoring are too much to pass up. He will be the No. 1 pick whenever the NBA Draft happens.

Why choose a player who competed against boys when you can go with one who competed in one of the better leagues in the world against men? That's what LaMelo Ball did.
Instead of going to college, Ball decided to play against professionals who've dedicated their lives to basketball. Even at 18 years old, he was able to finish second in the league in assists and steals, and secured the Rookie of the Year award. He already has a year under his belt playing against some of the best players in the world and he can only get better.
Ball should be the first pick in the NBA Draft in 2020.
