After a contentious year with the New York Mets, Matt Harvey finally has a new home. The former all-star was traded to the Cincinnati Reds after refusing to go down to the Mets' minor league affiliate. Many think Harvey doesn't have the stuff to be a good MLB pitcher anymore. Others feel a change of scenery will reignite Harvey into the nasty pitcher he was before. What do you think? ⚾

Matt Harvey may have had electric stuff, but there is more to playing baseball than just having talent. Matt Harvey proved he didn't know how to build relationships with the Mets. No one had his back because he separated himself from the team. If he can't do that at a professional level, no one will go to bat for him.

Mentally, Harvey is a wrecl. He was more concerned with partying and living a rich lifestyle than playing baseball. He won't last much longer in MLB.

The Mets abandoned Harvey when he needed their support the most. He may not be the most attentive teammate, but that's how you build goodwill: being there. New York failed him and it will come back to haunt them.

A change of scenery will help Harvey discover his love for baseball again. With a team that accepts him, he will return to form and destroy hitters like he did three years ago. Harvey's career is far from over.
