MLB player of the year: Mike Trout or Bryce Harper?
It's the end of the year! And throughout December, we're facing-off the best songs, albums, movies, TV shows, comic books, video games, sports, pro athletes and entertainers of 2016. The "Best of 2016" is chosen by a combination of popularity, impact, acclaim, rankings and/or amount sold. But ultimately, we want you to let us know who and what from 2016 won the year in each category.
Trout and Harper have already gunned for 2016's top spot, but who do you think is really the MLB player of the year?
And don't forget to cast your vote in these other end of year debates:
Trout is 2016's AL MVP, which is his second time winning the award. And he's under the age of 26. That's quite the feat. Here are Trout's stats.
Although the Chicago Cubs' Kris Bryant won the National League MVP in 2016, Harper was ranked as this year's second top player behind Trout. He was last year's NL MVP, and he's still riding off of that success. Reportedly, he wants a 10-year $400 million contact, and some think he's worth it. Hence, some would call him 2016's top player. Here are Harper's stats.
