It's been a while, but the Braves are back where they usually are: atop the NL East.

The Braves won their first NL East banner since 2013 riding the hot bats of Freddie Freeman and Ronald Acuna most of the year, ending the regular season with the second best overall batting average in the National League. Atlanta might not have any huge names in the starting pitching rotation, but it still had the fifth best pitching crew in the National League, according to ERA. That combination of solid pitching and big bats will carry the Braves past the Dodgers.

The Braves might have an extra day of rest, but the Dodgers have more momentum. Los Angeles won Game 163 to secure it's fifth straight NL West Championship. Don't get it twisted though—the Dodgers have been good all season.

The Dodgers might have the best pitching staff in MLB, finishing the season with the best ERA and fewest runs allowed in the National League. They backed up their throwers with the best slugging and run producing roster in the league as well. The Braves won't be able to contain the Dodgers. Los Angeles is advancing.
