The Athletic published a report stating that Los Angeles Angels manager Mike Scioscia is stepping down from his position at the end of the season, but he vehemently denies it. Still, some Angel fans would like to see him go. The team has been stagnant in terms of results and a new voice might be needed. Others would love to see Scioscia continue to manage. He brought the Angels a World Series Championship after all. What do you think? ⚾

Scioscia may have gotten the Angels a World Series, but the team has stagnated the last couple years despite having decent talent. Here is USA Today's Bob Nightengale with more:

Maybe it would be different if the Angels were winning, but that stopped years ago. They’ve reached the postseason only once since 2009, and haven’t won a postseason game in nine years. There were hopes this season would be different, but after being ravaged with injuries, the Angels’ season ended in June, sitting 11 games out of a wild-card spot.

Scioscia made the Angels credible and brought the team its only World Series Championship. He has had so much success with the Angels. It would be moronic to let him go. Here is USA Today's Jace Evans with more:

Hired in 2000, Scioscia led the Angels to victory in the 2002 World Series — the franchise's only championship to date — and captured division titles in 2004, 2005, 2007, 2008 and 2009.
