The Minnesota Vikings will reportedly activate Teddy Bridgewater to the 53-man roster and he could start for the team relatively soon if necessary. Bridgewater hasn’t started a regular season game since 2015, but led the team to an 11-5 record and a playoff appearance in his last full season. Case Keenum has been starting in his stead in 2017, leading the Vikings to a 6-2 record and in control of the NFC North. Who should start for the Vikings? 🏈

Down to their third quarterback, the Minnesota Vikings turned to Case Keenum to keep the ship afloat while Sam Bradford recovered from a knee injury, not only did Keenum keep the Vikings going strong, he led the team to the top of NFC North Division with a 6-2 record. Keenum has thrown seven touchdowns in six games. If it isn't broken, don't fix it.

Pulling him would interrupt the rhythm this offense has built without Bradford or Bridgewater. The Vikings don't need to make any rash moves when the team is obviously successful. Bridgewater should take his time, and Keenum should continue starting for Minnesota.

There's a reason Teddy Bridgewater was taken in the first round of the NFL Draft—he is the Vikings' franchise quarterback. If he is ready to go, the team should start him immediately. In his first full year as a starter, Bridgewater led Minnesota to an 11-5 record and an NFC North Division title. He wasn't putting up gaudy numbers because he had Adrian Peterson on the team, but he threw for over 3,200 yards and limited his mistakes.

Thanks for keeping the seat warm Keenum, but if Bridgewater's back the Vikings are his team.
