Did Jason Kidd deserve to be fired?

According to Adrian Wojnarowski at ESPN, the Milwaukee Bucks fired head coach Jason Kidd. The Bucks were one game above .500 and were the eighth seed in Eastern Conference playoff race at the time of his departure. Many feel Kidd should have had better results with a roster of talented young players. Still, they weren't in a bad position in the standings and Kidd had a great relationship with Giannis Antetokounmpo. What do you think? 🏀

Jason Kidd has ridden the young team gravy train for too long. It's time for him to go. Just because he makes the playoffs doesn't mean he is a good head coach.

Kidd's questionable rotations, ineffective defensive schemes, and sticky ball offense have been nothing but trouble for the Bucks. Any success Milwaukee has had can be attributed to the players like Giannis Antetokounmpo, not Kidd. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

Kidd was an integral part of the Milwaukee Bucks' revitalization. He led them to the playoffs two of his last three years with the team and has them playing good enough defense to rank top five in the league for steals, blocks and total rebounds.

More importantly, Kidd's close relationship with Giannis Antetokounmpo has helped in the rising star's development. Take Kidd away and Antetokounmpo may regress under another coach. The Bucks made a mistake.
