So Mike Gundy, a mullet-toting head coach, became a media and medical expert? Stay in your lane, dude.

Just because your multimillion-dollar salary is safe it doesn't mean you should be risking unpaid players' lives by defying stay-at-home orders. People want their college football, but they don't want people to die if it returns too early. Use your platform to promote the safety of these players instead of advocating for putting them in danger.

Stick to coaching, Gundy.

Tylt sports editor Daniel Tran talks with award-winning filmmakers Marc and Dan Levin about "I Promise," a docuseries following the first year of LeBron James' public school for at-risk kids. Check it out!

There's nothing wrong with being optimistic and that's all Gundy was doing. He is still planning on his program to run May 1 and that's okay. If the virus isn't clear by then, he can push it back with no problems.

Gundy is allowed to have a little faith that humanity can beat this illness sooner rather than later and he should be able to say it if he feels like it. People need to get off of his back.
