It must be hard to be so bitter after so many years. Michael Jordan got the best of him and went on to win six championships and all Isiah Thomas can do is hate.

Jordan earned his title of Greatest of All Time and Thomas can't handle the attention he's gotten for beating him. MJ is a bigger icon in Chicago than Thomas, who was born there, and the jealousy comes out every time he talks about his rival. He needs to take a seat and just be happy he is still considered to be one of the best points guards ever. Holding onto bitterness is not healthy.

Do you want to talk about holding onto bitterness? Jordan can't let go of the Pistons beating him over and over again, even decades after he achieved more than they ever have. That's sadder than anything Isiah Thomas has done.

Since Jordan has been anointed the greatest, he has had control of the narrative. No one wants to talk about Isiah Thomas' 36-29 record against Jordan or the 3-1 record he has against him in playoff series. No one remembers that Jordan called the Pistons "undeserving champions" in 1991 in the process of sweeping them.

Jordan's level of bitterness is unbecoming of someone who has accomplished as much as he has. Thomas is just defending his legacy and there's nothing wrong with that.
