Who has had more global impact: Michael Jordan or Beyoncé?
No disrespect to Beyoncé and her hard work to get to the top, but there is no way anyone sane thinks she is on the same level as Jordan in terms of impact. We're talking about a man who was an icon before the internet exploded; whose popularity was by tales of his greatness, not with likes and retweets (he still gets those, btw).
Beyoncé is an icon, but she is nowhere near the level of Michael Jordan.

Michael Jordan had his time in the sun, but Beyoncé runs the world. She was already famous after her run with Destiny's Child, but her solo career sent her to the stratosphere where she not only influences through her music, but also with her business acumen and activism for the Black community and women.
The Houston-native built a résumé that few artists have achieved. She is the first woman to win six Grammys in one night, is the most nominated woman in Grammy history, the first artist to have her first six albums debut at No. 1 and the first Black woman ever to headline Coachella. And that's the short version of her long list of accomplishments.
But her greatness is not just contained to the stage. She's a business mogul who is worth $335 million as of December 9, 2019. More importantly, she is not afraid to speak out against injustices felt by the Black community and women (unlike Jordan, who has infamously stayed silent on social issues until recent years). From LGBTQ+ rights to police brutality, Beyoncé is fearless in using her platform to defend those who may not be able to defend themselves and that's something Jordan has not shown he is willing to do with his massive following.
Beyoncé is changing the world for the better and that's more than Jordan can say.
