Are you buying the Miami Dolphins' 'culture change'?

In the span of a week, the Miami Dolphins got rid of Pro Bowlers Jarvis Landry and Ndamukong Suh, continuing what management has called a "culture change." With the team wallowing in mediocrity for the past few years, the Dolphins can certainly use a shakeup of the roster to breath new life into the squad. However, getting rid of your best players for next to nothing seems like a poor strategy that lacks direction. What do you think? 🏈

The Dolphins have spent money like a team with the desire to win, but haven't any seen any fruits of that labor. Now, they are cash-strapped with a team struggling to be anything other than mediocre, so a culture change is what this team needs.

Losing Jarvis Landry is big, but the team needs to rebuild from the ground up. Ndamukong Suh's albatross contract was weighing down the team with a player who would never live up to the money he was getting. The Dolphins were dysfunctional last season, and they need big changes to get out of this funk.

It's one thing to call for a "culture change," but it's another to gut the team of all talent. The Dolphins could have changed the culture of the team and still kept incredible players that could've been built around. Ndamukong Suh is still a load to deal with on the inside of the defensive line and Jarvis Landry is still a wideout in his prime. The team also got rid of potential franchise running back in Jay Ajayi midseason, so now the team is left with basically nothing in terms of players to be a cornerstone.

The team is now in a rebuild with no direction. There are going to be dark days ahead for Miami.
