Faulk was a two-time All-American during his time at San Diego State. He finished his career with 5,562 all-purpose yards, and 62 touchdowns, which was good for eighth most in NCAA history at the time of him entering the NFL.

Faulk also finished second in the Heisman Trophy vote in 1992 and got national attention at San Diego State, a school rarely in the spotlight. His quick cuts and versatility made him one of the most exciting running backs in college football history.

There have been a lot of big running backs before Adrian Peterson, but none of them had the speed that he had. Not only did he show great downhill running, his explosive cuts in the open field made him nearly impossible to take down.

He finished his career at Oklahoma with 4,041 yards in three seasons and 42 touchdowns, but left behind some of the most beautiful highlight reels.
