Marijuana has been used to curb pain by those suffering from seizures, arthritis and other joint pain. It stands to reason that athletes, who put so much pressure on their bones and muscles, would also stand to benefit from marijuana use for a higher quality of life. Some athletes already use it in the offseason to recover from the pain. Still, regular painkillers are actually legal, unlike their herbal counterpart and we should expect athletes to obey the law.
