After a year of speculation, LeBron James is finally coming to the Los Angeles. The four-time NBA MVP is heading to the Lakers with a four-year, $153.3 million contract. Some believe the team will become an instant contender with the acquisition of King James, along with a mix of talented youngsters and veteran players. Others believe the Lakers still don't have the pieces to be a championship team. What do you think? 🏀

LeBron James took a team that had no business being a contender to the NBA Finals last season. Imagine if he had a bench of talented young players and a front office loading up on veterans. The King had arguably his best season at 33 years old. With a little more help, James is going to to earn his fourth championship ring this year.

Anyone who thinks LeBron James is going to save the Lakers in his first year is fooling themselves. The Lakers weren't even close to making the playoffs last year—even with a talented young core. The Lakers are still two or three years away from being ready to win and James isn't getting any younger. He won't be able to lift the team past the Rockets or the Warriors, let alone make it the NBA Finals.
