It's rich that people are complaining about a father supporting his son. He never got that love as a child and he's paying it back with his children and people somehow have a problem with that.

It's not only his son he's hyping up. He gets up for other people's kids too, showing them love when they accomplish something on the court.

People are telling LeBron James to take a seat instead of cheering for his son. Maybe his critics should be the ones who take a step back to realize he's just being a good father.

There's a difference between being there as a father and calling way too much attention to yourself. In LeBron James' case, it is the latter.

Taking part in layup lines is not part of being a supportive dad. If anyone else did that, they would be crucified for taking attention away from their kids. James shouldn't get a pass just because he's a famous basketball star. He's making the crowd ooh and ahh, drinking all of that attention for his own ego.

James running on the court to celebrate also should be criticized. He's fully aware that cameras are on him and he will be the star of any highlight even if he wasn't involved on the court. His actions overshadow anything the kids do on the court and he needs to just sit down and enjoy the game.
