The Los Angeles Lakers have gelled quickly, and driving the team are its two superstars. LeBron James is looking like his MVP self, distributing the ball and keeping everyone happy. New acquisition Anthony Davis has taken his game to another level, leading the team in scoring and blocks per game. Both players are stars, but who is the real MVP of the team? 🏀

Anthony Davis is a superstar, but his ability to carry a team has always been questioned. LeBron James has no such problem.

Even though he's 34 years old, James is still handling most of the responsibility on the team, edging out Davis in terms of usage on the team according to Basketball Reference. He also has a better value above replacement than Davis, making him literally more valuable.

James might be getting older, but he is the focal point and leader of this team.

Before Anthony Davis was on the Lakers, LeBron James was hurt and leading a losing team. With the Brow now on board, the Lakers are winning and looking like a championship team.

Davis leads the Lakers in scoring, rebounding and blocks. Without him, the Lakers would still be a young, mediocre team.
