Kevin Love can't high five. Which time was worse? | The Tylt
In the compendium of awkward high fives of the world, we got a keeper with Kevin Love’s attempt with LeBron James yesterday during the fifth game of the NBA finals.
Eyes bright, he raises his hand to celebrate with James after a play. Except instead of high fiving him back, James rips into Love, wringing out every last ounce of joy and happiness left in him. Every. Last. Ounce. It’s just crushing.
The sad thing is Kevin Love is no stranger to awkward high fives.
In 2010, Love made an attempt to connect with teammate Wesley Johnson that was just as cringe inducing and uncomfortable to watch, but to its credit not quite as sad. At least Love chases Johnson down to finally complete the handshake.
They’re both really, really, bad high fives, each in their own special way. But which is worse?
