Rookie Dak Prescott has been impressive in limited action for the Dallas Cowboys, and he's already earning the respect of his team. It's time for Tony Romo, who has never been a durable quarterback, to move on. Even Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett loves the kid:

“I think our team has embraced Dak. He has come in and he has done what we have asked him to do, executes ball plays. Tony is focused on coming back. We’ll process this game quickly and then get on to the Packers (next week) before you know it.”

Yeah, but it doesn't matter what you think—the only person whose opinion matters is the guy who cuts the checks. And Cowboy owners Jerry Jones says this is still Romo's team.

Uh, that's far from a vote of confidence. Jerry Jones is just being diplomatic because he's the boss. But when Cowboys vice president Stephen Jones was asked if Romo's career is in jeopardy, the response he gave was very, very different:

"That's a fair question. Obviously questions are popping up with him. We're aware of that. He's aware of that. You also would like to think he's just having some bad luck and this thing will right itself at some point. Anybody would have to take a look at the point that he's starting to have some injuries. At the same time, we're supportive of him. Our focus is to get him healthy as soon as possible. In the meantime focus on the players that are here."

Yeah, but you know who says Romo is coming back and Prescott won't be stealing Romo's job? Hall of famer and Dallas Cowboys legend Troy Aikman, that's who. And if there's one guy who knows when a guy's career is done, it's Aikman!

These next couple weeks against playoff teams I think will give everyone a better idea, but even with that, I just can't imagine them not going back to Tony. I don't think that'll happen.

And Aikman says Romo's experience still gives the Cowboys their best shot in the playoffs:

I do think the experience that Tony brings in recognizing coverages, defenses, getting the team into the right plays, being in those types of games is certainly an advantage for him.

Sorry, but Romo has lost the fans. They're on Team Dak!

Oh, c'mon. Romo has led the Cowboys through some truly dark times. You can't give up on a Pro Bowl talent like Romo! He'll be back and better than ever!
