Jordan Spieth won his third different major title at the Open Championship before turning 24 years old, making him the first to accomplish that since Jack Nicklaus. Spieth’s steely resolve (developed after some heartbreaking meltdowns) has hardened him, putting him in a great position to win every major tournament. However, he has a long way to go before he's even close to what Tiger has accomplished. What do you think? 🏌

If you watched the final five holes of the Open Championship, there is no way you can say Jordan Spieth isn't the new Tiger Woods. With his back against the wall, Spieth finished spectacularly after bogeying three of the first four holes of the last round. Then, following a miraculous bogey on 13th, Spieth finished birdie-eagle-birdie-birdie-par to secure his third major title.

When everything was on the line, Tiger Woods found new levels of focus to make championship shots. That kind of mental fortitude and focus is within Spieth, and it will carry him to the same heights Tiger scaled.

What Spieth accomplished was great, but he's going to have to do it about 10 more times if he wants to even get close to what Tiger Woods accomplished in his prime.

Woods' accomplishments and records are numerous, but some of the most impressive ones are his performances at majors. Woods has shot a combined 126 under par at major tournaments. Compared to 138 players who have played at least 40 rounds of major tournaments, he is 189 shots better than the second place golfer.

Spieth might be great, but he has a long way to go before he can even sniff the zip code Woods is in.
