Because of former Houston Astros pitcher Mike Fiers, the team has been hit with some of the harshest punishments for using technology for stealing signs, including loss of draft picks, and a $5 million fine. Two people to lose their jobs. Many are calling Fiers a hero for exposing one of the worst cheating scandals in this century. Others are calling him a coward for conveniently waiting until he was playing for a rival to tell the world instead of doing it when he was in the middle of it all. What do you think? ⚾

Let's get this straight. Someone puts his professional reputation on the line, exposes cheating resulting in a cleaning up of the game and he's getting called a coward? Fanatics are a trip.

You can't do what Fiers did and be a coward. He could have lost all locker room credibility and been out of baseball if things didn't break the way did, but because of it, the game will be better and fairer.

Fiers saved baseball!

Fiers did the right thing, but why did he wait two years to expose it? He was a beneficiary of the Astros' cheating, getting a World Series ring in 2017. But he didn't say anything then because he was enjoying the ride. Now that he's with a division rival and getting pounded by Houston, he decides to say something.

He's not being heroic. He's getting a competitive advantage for his own benefit.

Nothing about this is noble. Fiers is a coward.
