Who would you rather see on HBO's 'Hard Knocks': Raiders or Giants?
If there is any team made for "Hard Knocks," it's the Oakland Raiders. Jon Gruden is must-see television no matter where he is, with his abrasive attitude and great catchphrases. The team is also dealing with the signing of talented, but controversial, wide receiver Antonio Brown. His fit on a team with a less than stellar record the last couple seasons will be interesting to see.
The franchise is also in the middle of a move to Las Vegas, but is still spending the next year in the city they are abandoning. This is the perfect team to follow during training camp.
The New York Giants are long shots to host "Hard Knocks" because of team owner John Mara's reluctance to have camera crews following his team. However, that doesn't mean the Giants wouldn't be a perfect fit for the show.
The franchise is still dealing with the fallout of drafting Daniel Jones, a physically gifted but relatively unproven quarterback, who is supposed to be the heir to Eli Manning. New York is also dealing with the departure of Odell Beckham Jr. while having one of the best running backs in the game in Saquon Barkley. Plus, with the biggest market in the United States, HBO would be fools not to capitalize on the drama that is this Giants team.
