Odell Beckham Jr. and the New York Giants are in talks right now to make him the highest paid wide receiver in the NFL. He was one of the most productive wideouts in NFL history in the first three years of his career, and he is only going to get better with time. He deserves to get paid. Others believe that his antics are distracting. After getting injured in 2017, he may not be worthy of being the highest paid receiver. What do you think? 🏈

In his first three years, Beckham gained 4,122 receiving yards and 35 touchdowns, torching defenses from the outset of his career. There's no other wide receiver that has the combination of speed, coordination and athleticism he has and it shows in his production when he is healthy. He deserves to be the highest paid wide receiver in the NFL.

Beckham Jr. is talented, but it's the rest of the package that will knock off some of the new deal's dollar amount. He's prone to emotional outbursts against opponents and teammates alike, and distracts a team with his antics on and off the field. In order to be the highest paid wide receiver, Beckham needs to be unequaled in production and not be a divisive force on the team. Since he can't accomplish both, he should not be the highest paid receiver.
