Should Daniel Jones start for the New York Giants?

The New York Giants got a temporary reprieve for picking quarterback Daniel Jones sixth overall in the 2019 NFL Draft after his performance in the first preseason game. Jones' draft position was almost universally panned, but the former Duke Blue Devil completed all of his five pass attempts and threw for a touchdown. Many have changed their tune and are calling for him to start. Others think it's way too early to think he can handle the rigors of an NFL season. What do you think? 🏈

People are so quick to judge. Experts thought Daniel Jones' draft position was unwarranted, but look at what he did with his opportunity. He completed all five of his passes and threw a dime in the corner of the endzone for his only touchdown.

This is more than just hype. What fans are witnessing is the rise of a perennial Pro-Bowler with a chip on his shoulder. Other fanbases will eat crow as Jones rips through their teams mercilessly and everyone will bow to his greatness.

He is the only option for starting quarterback.

First of all, settle the hell down. Secondly, settle down even more than that.

Giants fans are so quick to hype up a flash of good play, they're blinding themselves to the fact they have a Pro-Bowl quarterback on their roster. Eli Manning might not be young, but he has experience that Jones doesn't have. It's just one freaking game, Giants fans!

It'll take a lot more than one drive for Jones to become a starter.
